APFA National Championship
2018 Western Australia Team
The National Championship is a competition run by APFA and was created in 2011 following an international development event in Sydney. The event was recently held in Brisbane in September. It has been growing each year with teams from New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia and New Zealand currently competing. In 2018 Queensland were crowned champions after defeating New South Wales 4-3 in the final. Western Australia most recently finished 4th in 2018.
The Ditch Cup is a contest between the Australian and New Zealand national teams that takes place at the end of the National Championship.
